My husband Jake and I had been planning our dream trip to Tokyo for 2 years. We finally saved enough money.<\/p>\n

We reached the airport 3 hours early. We checked in, had coffee, and were waiting for boarding.<\/p>\n

Suddenly 20 minutes before boarding, Jake said “Oh no, I left my passport in the car!” He ran out quickly, leaving me with both our heavy suitcases.<\/p>\n

I waited and waited. 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes passed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Then I heard the announcement “FINAL CALL FOR TOKYO FLIGHT”. My heart started beating fast. I kept calling him but his phone was switched off.<\/p>\n

I dragged our 2 big suitcases to the gate and I froze. I saw him! He was in the line, boarding the plane alone. He had his passport in his hand. He saw me, smiled evilly, and continued boarding.<\/p>\n

My legs started shaking. He did it on purpose. Later I found out his new girlfriend was already sitting in business class. He used my savings to buy her ticket.<\/p>\n

I started crying loudly at the gate. Everyone was staring at me. I had no money, no husband, just 2 suitcases.<\/p>\n

A senior pilot who was standing nearby saw everything. He asked me “Are you okay, ma’am?” I told him everything while crying.<\/p>\n

He got so angry. He took his mic, went inside the plane and said loudly “Ladies and gentlemen, this flight will not take off because a coward just left his wife crying at the airport to go with his girlfriend. Officer, please remove passenger Jake Miller from seat 14B.”<\/p>\n
